Dr. McLaughlin is an academic pediatrician at BC Children’s Hospital with a focus on innovative, distributed models of care. He led the pilot of the province-wide Pediatric IV Outpatient Therapy (PIVOT) program, allowing children across British Columbia to receive critical IV antibiotics closer to home and reducing the need for prolonged hospital stays.
